These Programs are designed around the completion of 7 assessment periods to earn a Bachelor’s Degree. In the tables below, a typical first full year of cost is presented. Succeeding years will be less due to the exclusion of the Enrollment Fee. Students will follow the 7 assessment periods and will be scheduled to graduate in 3.5 years. An assessment period is defined as a Fall & Winter or a Spring & Summer study period.

Notes:

  1. Residence costs are shown for Woosong International dormitory.
  2. Annual mandatory studies include two 15-week semesters and two 5-week intersessions to graduate in 3.5 years. No scholarships are provided beyond 3.5 years of study.
  3. It is mandatory to stay at the School provided residence for the first academic semester.
  4. Master’s Degree and Ph. D. students are expected to live off-campus. Housing will be arranged after student arrives on campus with assistance of the University.
  5. Tuition scholarships are automatically computed on initial application for the first semester tuition.
  6. Admission Scholarships will be applicable for the first semester only. Merit scholarships for second and later semesters are dependent upon academic performance.
  7. One “Daily Residence Meal” is included with the accommodation as noted above. It is a required fee.
  8. The fees in the above schedule do not include other meals (unless mentioned), and do not include books or personal expenses. Meals typically cost about $4 -$6 at the school cafeteria. Personal expenses depend upon the lifestyle of the student.
  9. Expenses for the initial week in South Korea are expected to be $300 - $350 (bus from Airport, medical check-up, personal care products, residence security card, local ID card registration, etc.).
  10. Declarations for “Code of Conduct,” “Part-time Jobs,” & “Student Declaration” as provided, describe certain fundamental facts about the School and South Korea which will help the student make an informed decision.

  12. A Student Council fee of approximately $270 will be assessed each student to cover student activities, excursions, off-site visits during the 3.5 years of study. Some departments include a school jacket and tee-shirts to students. Students may pay this in two installments.
  13. Culinary Arts students will be required to pay approximately $550 additional for uniforms and related items and a knife set.
  14. Hospitality Management students will require a formal set of clothes which can be purchased anywhere in accordance with a standard model. Please inquire of the standard to enable purchasing these clothes in your home country.
  15. The Masters in Culinary Arts does not offer courses during the 5-week intersessions.
